Role Description
We are seeking a full-time on-site MRI Technician for NWI ER and Hospital located in Hammond, IN. The MRI Technician will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for scans, reviewing scans to determine their quality, and transferring images to physicians for interpretation. The MRI Technician will also communicate with the supervising physician regarding patient status and update patient electronic medical records.
Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Radiology, Radiologic Technology, and Medical Imaging skills
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow safety procedures
- Experience with Siemens MRI equipment is a plus
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
