"A Night in Old Chicago"
Sullair Corporation, along with the generous support of the Blue Chip Casino, Hotel, & Spa is proud to host "A Night in Old Chicago" on Friday, November 9, 2012 at the Blue Chip Casino's luxurious Stardust Event Center in Michigan City, Indiana. This spectacular event will feature a silent auction, food, beverages, music and other entertainment and will culminate with the drawing of the winning raffle ticket for a 1968 Classic Ford Mustang restored by the students at the A.K Smith Career Center in Michigan City.
Not only is this a restored classic car, but it also represents how the community of La Porte County came together to make this happen. And, one winner will be the lucky recipient of this year long endeavor! Support of the United Way of La Porte County by attending or donating items to the 2012 Annual United Way Auction. Items that have been popular in the past include sporting event tickets, sports memorabilia, electronics, golf items, gaming items and gift certificates to name a few. Belzowski Homes Featured in Fine Homebuilding
Local craftsman, Michael Belzowski, owner of Belzowski Homes, and local artist Timothy Gray, of Gray Art and Design, are currently featured in the most widely read home construction magazine in the country, Fine Homebuilding. Belzowski and Gray's work appears on the back cover of the November issue. The feature describes and illustrates a complete dining room remodel project that included a parquet floor, walnut-paneled walls, and a coffered and domed ceiling. Decorative painter Gray created a ceiling mural within the domed design.
According to information from their website, Fine Homebuilding covers "all aspects of residential construction and remodeling for an audience of both hands-on homeowners and professional builders. It is the foremost authority on the tools, techniques, and new materials shaping home improvement." Published by Taunton Press eight times per year, paid circulation for Fine Homebuilding totals over 265,000. It can be found on bookstore shelves and magazine displays in stores across the country. Belzowski and Gray both live in La Porte County, Indiana. Mystery Dinner to Benefit NCCAA
