”Camp Safari” is the theme for this summer’s Girl Scout Day Camp at Butternut Springs June 9-13, 2014. Located just north of Valparaiso, Camp Butternut Springs offers wide open spaces for girls to explore the out-of-doors under the supervision of trained adults. Sponsored by the Valparaiso Area Girl Scouts, Daisy, Brownie, Junior, Cadette, and Senior Girl Scouts from any area are welcome to register for this camp. Ambassador Scouts and adult volunteers are encouraged to contact Director Beth Baker for training schedules.
Cost for the 5-day camp is $55.00 and includes lunch and snack every day, camp T-shirt, patch, supplies, and a wonderful “Safari” learning about different parts of the world.
