Chesterton High School students in Allison Nix's Printmaking 1 class decided that the new process they were learning in class was so much fun that their parents ought to get in on the act at Chesterton High School’s Open House hosted in September. When parents arrived for their ten-minute session at Open House, students demonstrated what they had learned so far with printmaking vocabulary and then asked their parents to get involved in a printmaking process. Although the session was fast, parents and students alike were engaged in the collaborative process. Students took the next few days to put the finishing touches on what became a lakeside vista.
