Chesterton High School Student Awarded 2015 Academic All Star

CHS-student-awarded-Academic-All-Star-2015Chesterton High School Senior Alisha Dziarski, center, was awarded an Academic All-Star at the Academic All-Star Awards ceremony in Indianapolis in April. Also pictured is CHS Teacher Bryan Nallenweg, left, who attended as her chosen educator who most influenced her academic career and CHS Principal Jeff Van Drie. Dziarski was one of only 40 students in the entire state to be named an Academic All-Star. The award is given to students based on their "efforts in the classroom, as well as their leadership and extra-curricular and community involvement". She will attend Yale University in the fall to study molecular biology.
