Chesterton High School BPA Students Qualify at 2015 Regional Contest

Chesterton-High-SchoolChesterton High School Business and Professionals of America (BPA) students participated in the Regional Contest at Portage High School and placed in numerous contests this past Saturday. Many of these students are now eligible for the State BPA Contest to be hosted in Indianapolis in March.

Elle Donovan (gr. 12) - Fundamental Accounting, 3rd place & Fundamental Spreadsheet Applications, 10th place

Alex Kapote (11) - Fundamental Spreadsheet Applications, 2nd place, Database Applications, 1st place

Andrea Kovach (12) - Basic Office Systems & Procedures, 3rd place

Haydn Malackowski (9) - Fundamental Spreadsheet Applications, 4th place

Megan McGue (12) - Banking & Finance, 4th place

Jacob Miecznikowski (12) - Java Programming, 3rd place

Tanay Murarka (10) - PC Servicing & Troubleshooting, 8th place; Fundamental Desktop Publishing, 2nd place

Roger Dodson (12) - PC Servicing & Troubleshooting, 9th place

Alaina Patterson (12) - Advanced Spreadsheet Applications, 1st place

Paul Petro (10) - Advanced Office Systems & Procedures, 2nd place

Whitney Valtierra (12) - Fundamental Web Design, 3rd place; Visual Basic & C# Programming, 4th place

Membership in BPA is open to any student at Chesterton High School. Scott Truelove is the contact person and advisor for the CHS BPA Chapter.
