Senior leader expanding role to oversee additional business banking units
South Bend, Ind. – 1st Source Bank is pleased to announce the realignment of responsibilities of Larry Mayers, SVP, Business Banking Group Head and Fort Wayne Regional President. In addition to his existing charge, Mayers will now have oversight of the Bank’s national Solar Financing program, its successful SBA lending initiatives, Retirement Planning Services for businesses and Treasury Services and the Banks’s Business Practice Groups.
Mayers has been with 1st Source Bank for 13 years and has been in the banking industry for over 30 years. He holds a business degree from Hanover College. In the Fort Wayne community, Mayers serves or has served on the boards of the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center, Junior Achievement, Fort Wayne Urban League, United Way of Allen County, Park Center, Inc., Bishop Dwenger High School, St. Jude School and the Fort Wayne Civic Theatre.
This promotion is part of a strategic effort to provide continued strong leadership to 1st Source and to prepare for smooth transitions of responsibility and authority among the larger 1st Source team in the future.
