Porter-Starke encourages public to stay apart in body but Together in Hope

The Valparaiso Turkey Trot is Porter-Starke’s largest annual fundraiser and a community staple taking place on Thanksgiving morning. People gather to have fun, celebrate the holiday, and take a brisk run before gobbling up a turkey feast. The event raises approximately $35,000 for our programs and services each year.

Due to the increasing numbers of COVID-19 cases across our community, the Turkey Trot has been cancelled, but fun and celebration are still on the calendar. This year, support the essential healthcare services we continue to provide during the pandemic by joining the Together in Hope campaign.

Your support matters more than ever. A gift to our Together in Hope Campaign helps make essential healthcare available to all. Donors who give $30 or more will receive a face mask as a token of their gratitude.

Event proceeds support essential healthcare programs and services at Porter-Starke Services, Inc. and Marram Health Center. Both organizations continue to serve the health needs of our community throughout the pandemic.

Your gift - in any amount - supports life-changing healthcare for children and adults including mental health services, substance use treatment, primary care, dental services, and more.
