On Wednesday December 15th and Friday, December 17th, shoppers at Valparaiso Meijer may have been surprised by an extra police presence. Police officers from Kouts and Hebron helped students from Boone Township and East Porter County schools shop for holiday gifts for themselves and their families. This is the 4th year United Way of Northwest Indiana and Valparaiso Meijer have made holiday shopping possible for kids in our community.
