1st Source Foundation Helping to Build Better Futures in South Haven

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana’s South Haven Club renovation is well underway thanks to organizations like 1st Source Bank and 1st Source Foundation. The Club has been the go-to spot for South Haven kids since 1982. The renovation comes at a much-needed time and will provide modernized programming to empower youth.

“The 1st Source Foundation is proud to support the youth of South Haven and their new Club. This updated facility will provide kids with a fresh place to be themselves, learn and grow,” said Matt Vessely, West Region President at 1st Source Bank “Our bank’s mission is to help those in our communities achieve security, build wealth, and realize their dreams. This new Club is a prime example of this as we support not only the kids who attend, but the families who can go to work knowing their kids are safe at the Club.”

1st Source Foundation presented Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana with a check of $50,000 to support the Club’s lounge. Many youth in the future will enter the lounge with hungry bellies and leave full and happy as our Club provides their after-school snack.

The new Club will feature a dedicated Teen Center, expanded art room, games rooms, sensory room, STEM Lab, education rooms and more. The Club will open its doors to members at the start of next school year. Visit bgcgreaternwi.org/south-haven-campaign to learn more about the new Club and the campaign.
