The La Porte Ministerial Association has two more 20 Minutes With God Lenten services scheduled for Wednesday March 13 and Wednesday March 20. The services are held at twelve noon at the Bethany Lutheran Church--102 G St.
Each service lasts for twenty minutes and includes some hymns, a prayer, preaching, and Scripture. Rev. Bob Raschka, pastor of Salem Chapel United Methodist Church and Maple Grove United Methodist Church is the scheduled speaker on March 13.
Father Ian Williams, the priest at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church is the scheduled speaker on March 20.
Each service is followed by a light lunch. The March 13 lunch is provided by Hamilton Grove Retirement Community. The lunch on March 20 is provided by Bethany Lutheran Church.
