Art, Music, and Sunshine Support Valuable Message Behind Frontline's Hooked on Art Festival
Thousands of people packed Downtown Chesterton on Saturday to soak in the beautiful weather, live music, and -- of course -- live street art at Frontline's Third Annual Hooked on Art Festival. Yet beyond the sunshine and colorful works of art at Thomas Centennial Park, Festival patrons experienced a message even more beautiful: There is hope and freedom from drug addiction.
The message rang clear with over 50 client art pieces displayed at Frontline's Silent Auction tent with additional poster and canvas giclee prints for sale. The proceeds throughout the day also supported Frontline client treatment scholarships to disadvantaged young adults in our community.
Frontline is grateful to the more than 100 artists, vendors, musicians, community leaders, churches, and volunteers who made our event such a success! And a special thank you to our premium Festival sponsors: Camp-Land RV, Lakeside Wealth Management, The Law Offices of Michael T. Sawyier, and IGC Residential Property Management.
Also, congratulations to Best in Show Adult Chalk Competition winner ArtSmith Studios and CHS Juniors Haylee Corzan and Mia Johnson for winning our Youth Chalk Art Competition!
