Couples will dance and make family memories at the Portage Township YMCA's Pee Wee Prom from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 6 at the YMCA, 3100 Willowcreek Road.
The "Dr. Seuss" themed night is geared toward children ages 7 and under and their moms, dads or adult guardians and is open to the public. Attire is dress-up or semi-casual.
Tickets are $15 per couple and $8 each additional person if purchased before March 3rd. The cost is $20 a couple and $10 additional person after March 3rd. Tickets can be purchased at the YMCA between Feb.16-March 6.
Cathi Srednoselac, YMCA preschool coordinator, said, "It is our goal to create events that support quality family time together to help parents raise well-adjusted, happy children. We are delighted to welcome members and our community to our Pee Wee Prom."
The evening will include dancing, finger foods and desserts, music and photo booth by Hear.O AV Solutions. Picture are $5 each and need to be paid for at the event. The exact amount is appreciated.
