Creatives now have until March 19 to enter their pieces into the Re-Think Art Competition and Exhibition.
The contest, sponsored by the Recycling & Waste Reduction District of Porter County, challenges artists to submit works made from 100 percent recycled materials.
Entries will be judged by a jury and also by visitors of the Northwest Indiana Earth Day Celebration on April 16 at the Porter County Expo Center, where they will be displayed.
Categories include: young adult, adult, group project youth, group project young adult and group project adult.
“Materials that can be used include anything reclaimed, reused, recovered, second-hand, salvaged, or anything un-new.” said Therese Davis, competition and exhibition committee member.
Details are available on the district’s website, www.ItMeansTheWorld.org, or by calling Therese Davis, 219-465-3815.
