Just two months into his role at Levin Tire & Service Center, Assistant Manager Matt Mazur is already a key component in making sure that both the Region’s rides and drivers are always up to speed.
“I can typically be found talking to customers and hopping around making sure everyone smiles,” Mazur said. “That's more of what we are into. I also help make sure everyone's taking care of returning customers and the happy faces that have walked through the door.”
During Mazur’s first few weeks at Levin, he could typically be found at any one of the shop’s multiple locations throughout Northwest Indiana, which includes Highland, Crown Point, Valparaiso, and Winfield. Most recently, however, he has set up shop at Levin’s second Crown Point store, which opened to the public on July 1.
“I was hired for here, but I have been moving around stores wherever they need me,” Mazur said.
Having experience at other Levin locations has certainly been an advantage for Mazur. From meeting clientele across the Region to learning the ins and outs of the Levin business, Mazur is excited to use his experience to further service the Crown Point area.
“Having this new Crown Point location brings us more of a customer base. Even if it's not with us at this exact location, we can at least bring them happy, familiar faces and a recognizable name whether our customers are in Highland, Winfield, or anywhere in the area,” Mazur said.
Mazur lives in the Crown Point area himself, and he’s looking forward to working in his hometown. He’s proud that Levin is always around to offer quality, reliable service when people stop by for vehicle service, and now he gets to be a part of the team that extends that service to Southern Lake County as well.
“I think the Crown Point community will benefit from having us here because we’re reliable,“ said Mazur. “We’re very honest here, and we don't try to mess around or anything like that. We always make sure that we are there to help our customers at the end of the day.”
The new Crown Point location has already been quite a hit in the short time it’s been open, and Mazur is eagerly looking forward to what lies ahead. No matter what happens, though, Mazur is set to make sure customers always leave Levin with nothing short of a smile on their face.
“We hope to start with a small base and grow larger by friend referrals and things like that,” Mazur said. “Our team and I always want to make sure everyone's happy so that the word gets out and we make more people happy, which is our most important point.”
