Allegius Credit Union is pleased to announce Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Toni Downing, was named as a finalist in the prestigious Influential Women of Northwest Indiana Awards hosted by the Northwest Indiana Influential Women Association. This recognition celebrates her exceptional contributions to the community and her professional achievements in the finance sector.
The Influential Women of Northwest Indiana Awards have been celebrating the area’s most outstanding women since 2011. The awards honor leaders across various industries who contribute to the betterment of Northwest Indiana as both a thriving community and center point for professional growth.

Since joining the credit union in January of 2023, Downing has played a key role in the growth of the institution’s asset program and managing the essential functions of the accounting department to ensure compliance with state and federal auditing requirements. Downing also serves on the Board of the Porter County Parks and Recreation Department and is a member of the Chesterton Branding Leadership Committee.
Downing is one of the twenty-five finalists in the Finance category, competing against other outstanding women leaders from across Northwest Indiana.
