Bishop Noll Institute has announced its Graduates with Distinction for the class of 2018. These top academic seniors all earned a 4.0 or above GPA. These grades also determine the valedictorian and salutatorian.
Principal Lorenza Jara Pastrick said, “Throughout their years at Bishop Noll, these Graduates with Distinction have proven what it means to be a warrior in mind, body soul. As we send them out into the world, we are confident they can show what it means to be a disciple through their words, thoughts and actions.”
Megan Sullivan, of Griffith, was named valedictorian. She attended St. Mary’s School. Michael Quintero, of Hammond, was named salutatorian. He attended St. John Bosco School.
The Graduates with Distinction are the following: Nicholas Arambula, of Chicago, attended St. John the Baptist; Makala Blakely, of Gary, attended Calvary Academy; Abigail Damacio, of Griffith, attended St. Mary’s; Lindsay Ferrell, of Crown Point, attended St. Mary’s; Julia Fugger, of Lansing, attended St. Thomas More; Jackson Heintz, of Hammond, attended St. John Bosco; Payton Hewlett, of Hammond, attended Scott Middle; Monica Magallanes, of Hammond, attended Whiting Middle; Alyssa Morris, of Hammond, attended West Side Middle; Alejandra Perez, of East Chicago, attended St. Stanislaus; Reyna Reyes, of Hammond, attended St. Mary’s; Isabel Robles, of Whiting, attended St. John the Baptist; Lesley Vizcarra, of Hammond, attended St. Casimir; Brendan Zavesky, of Chicago, attended Grissom.
