The Bison Financial Group presented a generous check to Valparaiso Events Tuesday afternoon for the annual Valpo Brewfest held in downtown Valparaiso. The support of event partners like The Bison Financial Group helps the organization continue to provide more than 80 days of free, family-friendly community events.
Paul Kuzemka, Senior Vice President and Director of the Valparaiso Market, presented the check to the ladies of Valparaiso Events in the Bison Financial Group offices in the heart of downtown Valpo.
“It’s been a real pleasure working with Valparaiso Events on things like the Brewfest and the outdoor movies because it’s a testament to the quality of life that Valpo residents live,” said Kuzemka. “We’re very happy to partner with them on those things.”
In a city that is constantly holding events, Brewfest is especially popular. This will be the festival’s fifth year. Tickets have a history of going quickly, but this year VIP tickets sold out in under 30 seconds and general tickets were gone within 12 hours.
“These ticket sales just goes to show that Tina, Jennifer and everyone else over at Valpo Events do a wonderful job,” said Kuzemka.
Valparaiso Events works hard to make their events as appealing as possible. They try to add a new aspect to the Valpo Brewfest each year to keep the event fresh and fun.
“We add new components each year,” said Jennifer Peek, Marketing Director at Valparaiso Events. “For example, this year, VIPs will enjoy a sour beer tasting. The people who return year after year know that there will be something new to enjoy.”
Throughout the year, Valparaiso Events hosts over 80 days of events in the park. Only three of those events are ticketed with the remaining being free to the community. Partners like The Bison Financial Group help to make that possible.
“Each of our events has sponsors who want to support what we do to enhance the community,” said Peek. “Bison Financial has returned for 3 years as the presenting partner of the Valpo Brewfest. We certainly couldn’t do what we do without all of the amazing business partners that support us each year.”
