Boston Middle School Eighth Grade Awards Night

Boston Middle School’s Eighth Grade Awards Night took place on Monday, February 25th. The show started off with a talk by Mrs. Deb Carter, Boston Middle School Principal. That was followed by music by several of the students. Mrs. Linda Wiltfong, Assistant Superintendent for LaPorte School, was a guest speaker. Class speaker, Brandon Bellen, gave a short speech and a slide show presentation was viewed by all.

The students recognized for the accomplishments were: Perfect Attendance for five semesters at Boston were: Samantha Ake, Brandon Bellen, Caroline Francis, and John Link II. All “A” students for five semesters were also recognized. They are Samantha Ake, Brandon Bellen, Skylor Daisy, Ryan Dessart, Beth Eyrick, Daniel Hatfield, Danielle Kmiec, Courtney Lindquist, Victoria Lipscomb, Macy Llewellyn, Timothy Martin, Alyssa Mulligan, Catharine Pickford, Andrew Plank, Thomas Pope, Rowena Quinn, Kristina Tague, Loucas Vasilarakos, and Sarah Zygmuntowski.

All “A & B” students for five semesters were recognized also. Those students were Natalie Aragon, Bianca Batten, Riley Bello, Shannon Bhullar, Savannah Braman, Jacob Cole, Scott Cooper, Emily Dick, Monica Duarte, Allyce Ebert, Bianca Gamez, Anna Haislet, Kylie Harmon, Ross Henry, Haley Housman, Bailey Huber, Summer Huber, Taylor Kegebein, Dominique Koethe, Ania Ksiezyc, Kyle Lindborg, John Link II, Madeline Livinghouse, Peyton Riehle, Alex Riley, Celia Ruiz, Grace Scissom, Haley Sensing, Sofia Sirugo, Andrew Spartz, Meredith Torres, Olivia West, and Brett Wyse.

Special recognition was given to Caroline Francis for Perfect Attendance since second grade. After the presentation, refreshments were served in the Boston cafeteria. Students received their certificates and goodie bags filled with items donated by several local businesses.
