Brummitt Elementary School celebrated Dr. Seuss's Birthday and Read Across America Day on Friday. The beloved Dr. Seuss character, The Cat in the Hat, visited the school, read to each grade and passed out a special treat at lunch to the kids.
Each student received a Dr. Seuss bookmark and a free book in honor of his birthday.
