What a joy to be the leader of such an amazing team. I know you have been blessed by two of our talented teaching pastors, Pastor Josh Reasoner and Pastor Jon Nitta! We are one team (1 Corinthians 3) serving one Lord and one church (Ephesians 4) with one mission. Together we are changing lives forever with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
I've been visiting refugees in Greece and it's been emotional and encouraging. I can't wait to tell you more about what I have seen. God is at work through us in Europe. Also this Sunday our brothers and sisters from Kenya will join Kurt and his team on the platform to lead us in some God-exalting worship. It will be an experience you do not want to miss. One holy church!
Things are about to get very exciting and maybe a little messy at our church as preparations get underway for the main campus expansion. Sure, it might be a little messy for a while (kind of like life), but we believe God is going to bless us through the mess. We have some big news to share on Sunday 10.22. God has been working in amazing and encouraging ways.
I love being your pastor. I'm back in the U.S. now and getting ready for Sunday. And I'm glad to be home where baseball playoffs are on TV! Can't wait to see you.
