It might sound obvious but a characteristic of all living things is growth. In the same way, an unmistakable characteristic of Christ-followers is their personal growth. Whether we call it “changing lives forever” or “helping people follow Jesus,” the truth is when the gospel of Christ settles deeply in our hearts, it’s going to come out of us in a kind of life that resembles Jesus’ life more and more. The pastoral staff at Calvary is committed to creating an environment where, in the words of C. S. Lewis, people grow into “little Christs.”
Whether you are new to the faith or you’ve been around Calvary for awhile, you have some growing still to do. Let me invite you to Starting Point, a three-week series of classes that will help clarify the Christian life and our core values at Calvary. Starting Point is a place to begin:
- If you’re looking for direction in how to follow Christ in practical ways
- If you’re thinking about church membership at Calvary.
The first session of Starting Point is this Sunday at 11:15a. Come worship with our church family and then join us downstairs in the new Life Change Center. We like it if you sign-up online so we can save you a spot, but if you don’t get around to it just come! Hope to you see this Sunday!
2018 Mission Trips

The Men’s Winter Forum continues through February at the Life Change Center on Thursday nights at 7p. For February only, the men’s monthly gathering is on a Wednesday. Join the guys at Hunter’s Brewing in Chesterton on 2.7 at 7p.
