Center for Hospice Care Names New Patient Care Coordinator- Mishawaka/SB Region

Center for Hospice Care (CHC) is proud to announce Ronald (Ron) Wilson, RN as the organization’s new Patient Care Coordinator- Mishawaka/SB Region. Ron has been serving CHC since 2019 in a Case Manager role.

With this promotion to Patient Care Coordinator, Ron will be an integral part of the CHC Nursing team. He will be responsible for managing his team of RN’s, LPN’s, and CNA’s who deliver patient care on a day-to-day basis. He ensures his team has the tools and resources they need to deliver the best patient care, while staying in compliance with Medicare/Medicaid guidelines.

Ron Wilson brings over eleven years of nursing experience with almost four of those years with CHC. Prior to his work with Center for Hospice Care, Ron served in a hospital setting in medical oncology. Ron graduated from IUSB School of nursing in 2012, receiving his bachelor’s in science of nursing. He has two wonderful children, Grayson 18, and Payton 16. Ron is a big Notre Dame fan. He enjoys watching movies, playing basketball, riding bikes, and working out and states the gym is his ‘happy place’. Ron shares that he felt as if hospice was a natural progression from oncology. He has always had an appreciation for the interdisciplinary approached care that hospice provides. Helping patients and families during their most difficult times, he feels, is a blessing.
