CertaPro Painters of Northwest Indiana celebrate award-winning year at National Vision & Growth Conference

Thanks to continued growth, happy clients, and award-winning service, CertaPro Painters of Northwest Indiana turned 2019 into one of their best years on record. They marked the occasion by joining the rest of CertaPro’s nationwide branches at the 2020 Vision & Growth Conference in New Orleans.

Every year, CertaPro recognizes team members from branches across the country with awards for outstanding accomplishments, and at this year’s event, CertaPro Painters of Northwest Indiana walked away with four. Daniel Barrasas won the RSA Silver Club, Mark Powers the PA Bronze Club, and Dan Tirpak the RSA Bronze Club and was recognized as the Midwest’s “Residental Sales Associate Rising Star.”

“Getting that award was something that definitely humbled me,” Tirpak said. “I knew I was nominated for it, but I didn’t want to get too excited about it. Being up there in front of every team in the Midwest and having my name called was something special.”

Tirpak’s been a part of the team at CertaPro Painters of Northwest Indiana for just under two years. It was the quality of that team, according to him, that helped him earn that recognition.

“It’s a team effort,” he said. “You can see it when you go to the conference, every branch has a team that they rely on. It goes from the office staff, to us doing the estimates, to the painters finishing the job. It’s a full circle to get repeat customers and earn great reviews.”

Sales associates are given the “Club” awards for reaching a target volume of work and sales, with a 10 percent growth rate, and high customer satisfaction rating. Barrasas claimed the Silver Club for achieving $1,000,000 in sales, but credited his success to the impeccable work the painters do every day.

“The biggest thing for us is always the painters,” Barrasas said. “They’re the guys getting the job done. If we don’t have them, we can’t get awards like this. They earn that customer satisfaction that gives us a great reputation.”

John Jordan, President and Owner of CertaPro Painters of Northwest Indiana, echoed Barrasas and Tirpak’s thoughts.

“We had a really good year, and the biggest thing I take away from it is the success of our team,” Jordan said. “When the team does well, the company does well. I was proud of that, and it gives us a good foundation for 2020 being even better.”
