Chesterton High School senior Ashley Castillo prepares for the upcoming CHS International Baccalaureate (IB) advanced art show entitled “Out of Space-But Never Ideas.” Students have been busy mounting and matting artwork and making final designs for their individual gallery exhibits that will go on display next week.
Twenty-one students have worked all year long to create art works that reflect their interests and ideas through their own research. Students will be on hand to talk about their work and plans for the future. The exhibit will be on display Wednesday and Thursday, April 9 and 10 from 6-8 p.m. in the Upper Gymnasium of Chesterton High School, 2125 S. 11th Street in Chesterton. Visitors should use Entrance 31. An elevator is available to access the second floor. Admission is free.
