Beginning this Friday and every Friday (except. Dec. 26 and Jan 2.) through Feb. 6 from 10:00a.m. – 2:00p.m, Gary City Hall, 401 Broadway, will serve as an enrollment site for Affordable Healthcare. The City has teamed up with Community HealthNet, who will have representatives on site to complete the enrollments.
“Now that the Affordable Care Act has been in existence for a year, a lot of the kinks have been worked out and the process to enroll is even easier,” said Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson.
Residents who want to enroll may set an appointment by calling (219) 359-4841 or (219) 886-8980. Walk-ins will also be accommodated.
“We want to do our part to help ensure that Gary residents are informed and have every opportunity to get enrolled,” said Freeman-Wilson.
The Gary Health Department and Methodist Hospital Gary Campus will also serve as enrollment sites.
