Crossroads Chamber’s Annual Corn Roast Returns to Bulldog Park for a Weekend of Food, Fun, and Community

Crossroads Chamber is seeking sponsors for its annual Corn Roast, the chamber's biggest fundraiser event, on Friday, May 30, and Saturday, May 31, at Bulldog Park in Crown Point. With an anticipated 10,000 attendees, this two-day event promises to be an unforgettable celebration of local businesses, live entertainment, and delicious food.

“This event is not only a beloved tradition in our community, but it also plays a critical role in supporting the chamber’s initiatives throughout the year,” said Deann Patena, CEO and President of Crossroads Chamber. “We are proud to provide a space where businesses can engage with the community in a meaningful way while enjoying a weekend of fantastic food, entertainment, and networking.”

The Corn Roast will feature a wide variety of food vendors serving different types of cuisine, a beer garden, bounce houses, live entertainment, a cornhole tournament, and a corn-eating contest. The schedule of events includes the following:

Friday, May 30

  • Food Vendors & Bounce Houses: 4:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
  • Entertainment Lineup:
    • Farmer Dan 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
    • Party Foul 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Saturday, May 31

  • Food Vendors & Bounce Houses: 12:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
  • Cornhole Tournament: 12:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • Corn Eating Contest: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
  • Entertainment Lineup:
    • DJ Dave Galt 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
    • Jack Cunningham 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
    • The Craw Puppies 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

The beer garden will be open throughout both days, serving as the designated area where attendees can purchase a variety of alcoholic beverages to enjoy as they explore the event.

“This event is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to connect with the community while enjoying great food and entertainment,” said Ryan Peterson, Corn Roast committee member and Business Development Executive at Chicago Title. “From the lively atmosphere to the fantastic music lineup, there’s something for everyone. And of course, the beer garden is always a crowd favorite!”

The deadline for sponsorships is May 2, 2025. The Crossroads Chamber invites the community to attend this beloved annual event, which brings together businesses, families, and friends for a weekend of fun and connection.
