Crown Point Schools to Host Exceptional Education Resource Fair

Crown Point Schools to Host Exceptional Education Resource Fair

Crown Point Community School Corporation will host its annual Transition-to-Adulthood and Resource Fair on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Crown Point High School. The event connects families and students with more than 70 local organizations that offer support, services, and opportunities for life after high school.

While the fair is especially geared toward students ages 14 and older who receive special education services, families of all ages and abilities are encouraged to attend. The event is free and open to the public—not just Crown Point families.

Representatives from a wide range of organizations will be available, including colleges, branches of the military, skilled trades groups, respite care and therapy providers, healthcare professionals, employment and job training services, and many more.

“Our goal is to empower families with knowledge and connections to help their children succeed beyond the classroom,” said Heather Paskis, Director of Exceptional Education. “This annual event is an important part of our commitment to supporting every student’s unique journey into adulthood.”
