Crown Point to Host Free, Ticketed Concerts this Summer

The City of Crown Point is set to host a slate of concerts this year, including free  and ticketed shows.

The concerts kick off this Saturday, May 25, at Bulldog Park with the Allstar Jam Summer Kickoff  presented by Get Loud Entertainment.

The ticketed show features Derek St. Holmes, of the Ted Nugent Band; Jeff “Skunk” Baxter, formerly  of Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers; John Elefante, formerly of Kansas; and SIXWIRE, the critically  acclaimed house band featured on USA Network’s “Nashville Star,” FOX’s “Next Great American  Band,” CMT’s, “Next Superstar,” and ABC’s dramatic series “Nashville.”

Tickets are available by visiting www.tixr.com/groups/getloud.

The City’s annual Summer Concert Series returns to Bulldog Park Thursday, June 6, during the first  Crown Point Car Cruise of the 2024 season.

A portion of the free Summer Concert Series will coincide with the car cruise, with various local  bands set to take the stage on select Thursday evenings. The series also features live entertainment  at the Taste of Crown Point, Wine Fest and Oktoberfest. A complete line-up can be found at  www.crownpoint.in.gov.

For Crown Point Mayor Pete Land, the expanded use of Bulldog Park encompasses the City’s mission  to provide something for everyone.

“We have hosted our free Summer Concert Series featuring local bands and artists for a number of  years,” Land said. “Partnering with promoters like Get Loud Entertainment and Hometown Jams  allows us to broaden the events hosted at Bulldog Park with nationally touring acts while continuing  to support local artists. We hope these shows will put Crown Point on the map as a destination for  top-notch concerts in Northwest Indiana and beyond.”

A slate of ticketed concerts with Hometown Jams also is planned for this summer. The shows begin  June 7 at Bulldog Park with Tennessee native Russell Dickerson, whose career-starting singles have reached No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. Dickerson also has earned platinum or better  status with five of his singles.
