It was a great turn out on Saturday Aug. 4th of show cars, trucks and visitors despite the warm temperatures at the Portage 1st United Methodist Church for the Cruise In for Kremke car show. First of all, we want to thank all of the donors who gave silent auction and door prize items. May God bless you seven times over for being so generous for this great cause.
And a big thank you to all the people who put in sweat equity in the day literally. And of course a big thank you to those folks that worked to make the day happen starting months ahead of time...thank you thank you.
As a result over $6,000 were raised for Julie Kremke.
In our books, everyone that showed up (at least 33 entries) were winners, but by popular vote the overall show winner was: Warren and Ruth Larson with their 1957 dusty rose porthole Thunderbird. Congratulation to the Larson's and all the other trophy winners.
And thank you all once again for making this day the success it was.
