Denby currently serves as Chair of the Campaign Cabinet for the La Porte County United Way, but his community involvement is much greater. Prior to this year, Denby had been involved in United Way campaigns by volunteering to be a Loaned Executive. Not only did he speak about why giving back to the community is so important in his own workplace, but he made a point to help with campaigns in other workplaces as well.

This past year, however, proved to be even more challenging for GAF, during a three week shutdown – and Denby rose to the challenge yet again. During GAF campaign meetings, company incentives to contribute were provided – including gift cards, tickets to the United Way Carnival gala, entries to the United Way 5K Run, and more!

Denby’s savvy paid off in GAF’s campaign reaching an all-time total raised this past fall of $20,000 in employee giving! The generosity of Denby and all other GAF employees will go a long way to serve the citizens of LaPorte County over this next year.

United Way of La Porte County is very proud to honor Denby Snell as this year’s Volunteer of the Year!
