Donations are Needed for Rebuilding Together-Duneladn to Make a Sustainable Impact for the 2016 Work Day

rebuilding-together-logoEven as the economy continues to recover, there are still many families in the Duneland community struggling to make ends meet. Too often, our neighbors who are in this position must choose between immediate necessities, like food, and repairing or maintaining their house. But with your financial support and the effort of our hundreds of volunteers, we can make a lasting investment in our community by helping ensure the elderly, families with children, and the financially struggling can live with dignity in a warm and safe home.

Rebuilding Together Duneland (RTD) is an affiliate of the nation’s largest nonprofit volunteer organization, Rebuilding Together, which assists low-income homeowners by improving their quality of life through the rehabilitation of their homes. Our mission is to rehab the homes of people in the Duneland School District who are physically and/or financially struggling. Since 1997, RTD has reinvested donations totaling over $1.2 million into helping 212 households and community projects across the Duneland area. But none of that would be possible without the strong financial support of local businesses and individuals like you.

Companies who sponsor a house can also provide volunteers for a team building experience on this year’s annual work day on April 30th. Help us make a difference in the Duneland Community! We are available to make a presentation to any organization that would like to hear about our mission and our past projects in the community.

Donations can be made online at www.rtduneland.org by PayPal in the donations tab or by mailing a check to Rebuilding Together Duneland, P.O. Box 644, Chesterton, IN 46304. Material donations are also welcome. For more information, call 219-926-3233.
