St. Peter Lutheran Church and the Portage Exchange Club are co-hosting a Fall Fest on Saturday, October 2, 2010, from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. The Fest will be held at the Church, located at 6540 Central Avenue, Portage, northeast of the juncture of Central and Airport Avenues.
Come for the food, games, vendors and Karaoke. Enjoy corn dogs, corn on the cob and great selections from the bake sale.
There will be live music throughout the day featuring St. Peter’s own Jack and Stacy Carroll and Dustin Edwards, as well as local favorites ArborKnot, and Johnsie May.
The Exchange Club will have the drawing for its 2010 raffle beginning at 1 p.m.. If 1200 tickets are sold, the winner will have a choice between $10,000 and a new Ford Focus from Lakeshore Ford. If fewer than 1200 tickets are sold, it will be a 50-50 drawing. Proceeds will go to the Needy Kids Christmas Shopping Fundraiser. Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased at ACE Hardware or from any Exchange Club members. They may also be purchased on October 2 until the drawing begins.
