FAWN (Friends Assisting Women in Need) together with Housing Opportunities (HO) are hosting a Fashion Show, Dinner, and Silent Auction on Sept 10th at 5:30 at the Avalon in Hobart.
FAWN is an organization that specializes in positively changing women’s lives as well as the lives of their families. HO is a non profit United Way Agency. The majority of HO’s clients are women with children who are the heads of their households. Our clients also use our services for foreclosure counseling and home buyer education classes where they enter into a savings program and at the end of the classes receive down payment assistance and have their money matched. These are just a couple of the support services we provide.
This event will help to fund all our services as we strive to give a hand “up” to our clients so they can become self-sufficient and contributors to our communities. This promises to be a fun evening and everyone attending receives the invaluable return that they are helping people improve and change their lives.
