The Portage Chamber of Commerce will host a one hour, free seminar on April 2, 2014 at 8 am at the University Center Building on Central Ave. in Portage. This event is part of the Chamber's Rise and Shine Series, which is offered FREE to the public on the first Wed. of every month. Various topics discussed include law, medical, financial, health etc.
On April 2 at 8 am at the Portage University Center at 6260 Central Avenue. A. J. Monroe, Portage Director of Community Development, will discuss planned improvements in the city, including the downtown improvements, new fire station, Founders' Square Park and Amphitheatre among other developments.
