South Shore Dance Alliance (SSDA) and the Wirt-Emerson Dance Department are pleased to announce that Gary native Renaldo Maurice Gardner, a company member in New York City's Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, will teach a master contemporary class for intermediate/advanced level dancers at the Wirt-Emerson Visual and Performing Arts Academy dance studio, 210 N. Grand Blvd. in Gary (Miller), Indiana, on Thursday, January 22 and Friday, January 23, 2015 from 6 – 7:30 p.m.
As a member of the internationally-acclaimed Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Gardner tours and performs all over the world. He combines that experience with his unique style, his boundless energy and enthusiasm, and his love for the art to make his master classes a rewarding and extraordinary experience for all aspiring dancers. This is not to be missed!
This is a master contemporary class recommended for intermediate/advanced level dancers. Cost is $25 per person for one day, or $40 per person for two days. Registration will take place in the Wirt-Emerson Dance Studio office from 5:00 to 5:55 p.m. before each day of class. Class will start promptly at 6:00 p.m. Late arrivals will not be admitted.
