Clark counselors played a huge role in this month's activities around the school. One counselor, in particular, is new this year. Previously employed at Munster High School for 12 years, Mrs. Vail is no newcomer to being a school counselor. After working at Munster for so long “[Vail] was getting bogged down with paperwork and the new graduation requirements, rather than working with the kids," Vail said. Due to the rising workload and added stresses, Vail applied for a new position and landed the job. With her knowledge of high school curriculum and the expectations in high school, she hopes to help middle school students with their journey towards success.
