Denise Conlon, Manager of Public Affairs and Economic Development for NISOURCE, shown giving Jess Vargas, Vice President of the Board for Habitat for Humanity of Porter County a $15,000 donation for Habitat's next build.  This donation will give a big boost to Habitat’s project to construct their 30th home in Porter County.  Habitat’s mission is to construct decent, livable, affordable housing for qualified applicants who would otherwise never be able to own a home.

This will be the 30th home that Habitat for Humanity of Porter County has built in Porter County. This home will be for a single mother and her two children.   Habitat homes are built with donations of both labor and financial support from local businesses, community groups and local churches.  In the past two years we have built two homes per year in Porter County,
