Hannah’s Hope begins new endeavor

Inspiration can come from things big and small and often from those who never know the contribution they provide or the impact they have on others. Hannah’s Hope has drawn their inspiration from a little girl whose smile motivated others to do great things in her honor. Since our inception in 2010, “Helping Hannah Help Others” has grown into more than just a saying or motto; it has grown into a culture of providing for families with children with special needs.

Over the last 14 years, our mission has been to provide Northwest Indiana with a non-profit that provides developmental equipment to kids with special needs and connects families by making life and communities more accessible. This was no light undertaking and could not have been accomplished without the help of so many great people, organizations, communities, and the families themselves who have made this dream possible.

As we launch into 2024, Hannah’s Hope will be bringing you our two most beloved events for the last time, hosting our Shamrock Shootout Bowling Tournament (March 10, 2024) and Golf Outing (July 13, 2024). Please join us for these events as we look forward to celebrating with all of you and preparing for our next endeavor with the Porter County Community Foundation (PCCF).

Hannah’s Hope is excited to announce our partnership with the PCCF beginning in January of 2024. Although our 2024 annual golf outing will be our last hosted event, we will still need your continued support as we move forward into our new endeavor and ensure financial support for generations to come. Hannah's Hope, in conjunction with the PCCF, is proud to announce that we have started a scholarship fund for students looking to pursue a career in the therapy field and a separate endowment account that allows us to donate directly to those agencies who provide much needed therapies and services. Both funds will allow us to continue to support the special needs community right here in our own backyard and continue our mission of “Helping Hannah Help Others” while making a difference in the lives of the special needs community. We look forward to sharing specific details with everyone as the year progresses.

We cannot thank our friends, family, supporters, sponsors, and event participants enough as this journey is yours as much as it is ours. Your continued support and love has allowed and will continue to allow us to make a difference in our community, as well as the lives of families with special needs right here in Northwest Indiana. If it weren’t for our sweet Hannah, and the inspiration to so many she provided, none of this would have been possible. She will continue to be our guiding light as we venture into the next chapter of our journey.
