Having a Ball for Heart Health

hoopskidsMore than 150 Barker Middle School students took part in a "Hoops for Heart" benefit on Thursday, March 28, raising $1,785.25 for the American Heart Association. Students donated a minimum of $5.00 to participate in Omnikin Volleyball or Dodge Ball during the last class period before Spring Break.

"It was a little chaotic at times - but it was fun for everyone right before break," said Bruce Parker, Barker Wellness Teacher and coordinator of the annual event.
