Portage Christian School would like to build a new playground for their students. This project will consist of building a completely new jungle gym, renovating the swing set, removing defective equipment, and making the ground compatible with the play area. Before the project begins, the excavation, ground preparation, and installation of supporting poles will need to be completed. The jungle gym will be assembled by a professional installation company to ensure safety and durability. The swing sets will be renovated with all new equipment- seats, chains, and attachments. Touch-ups or changes on the rest of the equipment will be made to make sure that they are safe and kid-friendly. Finally, the landscaping and mulch will be finished by volunteers who will also help clean up. The playground should be completed in roughly two weeks time and open for the 2011-2012 school year.
