The Hobart Summer Market has returned this year, and its growth, coupled with the addition of movie night, has developed the Festival Park area into one of The Region’s premier destinations for food, fun, and family events on Thursday evenings.
“We love the Hobart Summer Market! The food and vendors they have as well as music make for a wonderful summer night. “Said Hobart resident Amanda Hedges.
This week’s market boasted a variety of food from BBQ to Mexican, as well as an assortment of desserts and even a beer tent for those 21 and up. There are vendors of all kinds as well, a bouncy house for the kids, and live music each week.
“We have a great time every year. We love to bring our family and look forward to stopping by every week!” said Michelle Michniewicz, a lifetime Hobart resident who attended with her children and family.
This week’s market was extra special as it ran in tandem with the annual Hobart Jaycees Fest, one of the city’s most popular festivals each year. And the high popularity of each event brought together hundreds of people in Downtown Hobart to share memories that would last a lifetime.
Bring the family and your appetite to enjoy this time treasured event that brings the community together each year and never disappoints.
This community loved event is located at Festival Park on the Lake from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursdays from June 2 to Sept. 1 (except Aug. 18)
