Horizon Bank held a ribbon cutting to celebrate their new video banking machine in La Porte on November 14th starting at 4 p.m. at 1410 Lincolnway. The event included remarks by Horizon Bank Vice President, District Manager, Jennifer Shoup, Mayor of the City of La Porte Tom Dermody, and Executive Director of LEAP Bert Cook. A demo of the new machine was given by Jennifer Shoup and refreshments were provided.
Horizon’s Video Banking is the next best thing to in–person service and just one more way the bank goes beyond ordinary banking. From the convenience of your car, you can speak with a banker, and interact as you would in the branch.
You can also complete all the basic transactions you would do in your local branch: transfer or deposit money, withdraw funds, and make loan payments. You can even cash checks as late as 7 p.m. CT and receive a printed check receipt. Banking hours are extended and available before and after normal branch hours. These extended hours of service allow you the flexibility to do your banking – even after the branch closes on Saturday.
