Indiana State Police Six State Trooper Project Results

ISPThe Indiana State Police along with Troopers from Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Michigan and Pennsylvania conducted state-wide patrols targeting violations of the “Move Over” laws in each of those states that began Sunday, July 22nd-Saturday July 28th. The project, which was initially started by the Ohio State Highway Patrol, encompasses the five states that border the State of Ohio.

The results for Lowell District of the Indiana State Police were:

  • 60 Traffic Arrests
  • Speed Arrests
  • 14-Mover Over Violations
  • 2-Child restraint/seat belt violations
  • 95-Warnings
  • 10-Criminal Arrests
  • 4-Operating While Intoxicated Arrests
  • 12-Crash Investigations
  • 32 Police Services

The 6-State Trooper Project is a multi-state law enforcement partnership aimed at providing combined and coordinated law enforcement and security services in the areas of highway safety, criminal patrol and intelligence sharing.
