Italian Wines and Fine Dining Event to Help Orchestrate Music in our Community

italian-winesSouth Shore Orchestra will host their 9th Annual Wine Dinner on January 31, 2015 featuring Nicholis wines from Valpoicella, Italy at Bon Femme Cafe in downtown Valparaiso.

You are invited to experience an evening with a 5 course gourmet meal from one of Valparaiso's finest restaurants paired with 5 distinctive wines including "Amarone", the most famous wine from this multiple generation family wine business. It also includes a sparkling wine pre-dinner reception at 5:30 to begin the evening's activities. Dinner will begin at 6:15. Bon Femme Cafe owner Keith Gurley and chef Mark Garva, are designing an unforgettable evening of taste and dining pleasure to maximize the wines served.

Net proceeds from the event will benefit the South Shore Orchestra, a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, to support its concert schedule and community outreach programs, among which is an annual $2,500 scholarship awarded to college-bound high school seniors.

There will also be live and silent auctions with many wine related items, hotel and B&B lodging packages and items from China acquired during the orchestra's most recent concert tour or from Europe & USA. Local patrons are also adding many items and services to the shopping opportunities.

Wines sampled at the dinner may be purchased at special pricing through local wine shop Old World Market in Valparaiso. The South Shore Orchestra will receive 100% of the profit from all wine sales. Order forms will be available at the events.
