Jackson Elementary 4th grade students held their own election on Tuesday, November 6th! It was very exciting and all of the kids did a great job! Mitt Romney was our winner for President and John Gregg won for Governor. We learned all about the voting process. Students registered to vote- they had to sign in at the polls, stand in line and wait- all of the things we have to do as adults. We had kids working the polls and helping others vote. Secretary of State Connie Lawson also stopped by to talk with our class about voting.
