Jason Coleman to Perform at Valparaiso High School on March 12th

jason-colemanOn March 12th, 2014, the Concert Association of Valparaiso presents: The Legacy of Floyd Kramer by his grandson, Jason Coleman LIVE! at Valparaiso High School at 7:30pm.

The distinctive piano style that we so often associate with country music was developed by Floyd Kramer. It became so popular that music teachers scrambled to learn it so they could teach it to their demanding pupils.

Floyd died on the last day of 1997, leaving us only his records and our memories -- and his grandson Jason. Jason Coleman continues his grandfather's style in the unique sounds and rhythms that so many of us have come to love. CAV, the Concert Association of Valparaiso, will bring this rare experience to the stage -- live! -- in our fourth concert of our 70th year. This promises to be a landmark performance that you don't want to miss -- the best of Nashville piano!

Read more about Jason Coleman on his website www.jasoncolemanmusic.com. Admission is by subscription to the concert series or by purchasing tickets at the door -- $15-adult / $10-student.
