TITLE: Full-time Maintenance Technician
DEPARTMENT: Maintenance
REPORTS TO: Maintenance Coordinator/Maintenance Supervisor
JOB SUMMARY: Assisting in the maintenance and improvement of properties and offices assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Must be a United States Citizen
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Have reliable transportation
- 18 years or older
General Duties:
- Janitorial: cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, dusting, emptying trash, removing cobwebs, washing windows, and stocking supplies
- Landscaping: hedge trimming, pruning trees, weeding, edging, overseeding, watering, planting, applying mulch, small tree removal, trash pick-up, and removing leaves and sticks
- Painting: interior and exterior of buildings, shelving, equipment, furniture, signs, etc.
- Plumbing: assisting in repairing toilets, drains, fixtures, water lines, irrigation systems, pool pumps, and pool filters
- Electrical: replacing lighting, fixtures, outlets, and appliances
- HVAC: assist in repairing HVAC units, thermostats, and changing filters
- Carpentry: assist in minor construction, demolition, installing shelving, trim work, drywall repair, decking repair, and signage
- Pressure Washing: vehicles, boats, equipment, pool, siding, decking, sidewalks, parking lots, etc.
- Snow Removal: shoveling sidewalks, salting, snow blowing, etc.
Required Skills:
- Able to perform moderate to heavy lifting (51+ pounds)
- Willing and able to work in all types of weather
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to work 40 hours per week and overtime as requested by supervisors
- Ability to be on call for emergencies during designated times
- Capable of working independently and in a team setting
- Time management
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
