Join the Panther family today: St. Paul Catholic School accepting enrollment applications for 2024-2025 school year

While summer vacation is just around the corner, the staff at St. Paul Catholic School is already bustling with excitement for when it’s time to come back to class. SPCS is  thrilled to welcome more students for the 2024-2025 school year and prospective Panthers may still apply for Pre-3 through eighth grade.

The upcoming academic year in particular is set to be a great one for SPCS. The school will offer an additional class per grade, allowing for smaller class sizes.  “For the past five years or so, we have been at one class per grade for kindergarten through eighth grade,” said St. Paul Catholic School’s Marketing and Enrollment Director Amanda Bookholt. “I am excited to share that we are now offering two classes per grade K through fourth, so we will now have two kindergarten, two first, two second, two third, and two fourth grade classes.”

The expansion is an exciting moment in time for the school. The restructure means more students are now able to take part in quality, faith-based education, which can greatly help set a solid foundation with strong values for success later on in life.

“We really value academic excellence. We have a very rigorous program, and we’re currently a Blue Ribbon School,” Bookholt said. “It’s great if you have a student who does well at school, you want them to do well at school as a parent, or if you want them to have a great educational foundation. High-quality education is something that we strive for.”

At SPCS enrolling is much more than signing up for classes; students and their families immediately find themselves in a built-in community. *From staff to other student families to alumni and everyone in between, the Panther blood always runs thick, so a lifetime of support is there from the very first day.

“‘Great academics, a strong faith, and fun family community’ is our tagline, and we embody that,” Bookholt said. “There are different activities for families to participate in. A lot of the students are friends outside of school. We have a lot of siblings and cousins that attend, so it has a family atmosphere. Everybody is welcoming, kind, and generous with their time. It's nice to have that interpersonal foundation for your students.”

While SPCS is a Catholic school, enrollment isn’t just limited to students of that denomination. Students of all faiths and backgrounds are encouraged to apply. *Bookholt noted that current families of all faiths love the values SPCS holds near and dear.

“If you aren’t Catholic but want your students to have a faith background or foundation with faith,” she said. “We do have students from other religions that are with us. Their parents want to instill that traditional foundation and character, and the students strive to do their best.”

Receiving a private education doesn’t have to mean an expensive education. The two are not always synonymous, which is definitely the case at St. Paul. With the support of the Indiana Choice Scholarship Program, it is much easier for children to have access to private education without breaking the bank. *Mrs. Bookholt is happy to help you navigate this option and will work with you to determine what the right choice will be for your family.

*Prospective students and families are encouraged to stay connected with St. Paul throughout the summer months on social media and the school’s website. Fun summer events are expected to be announced soon for new and returning students to get connected and make new friends before the school year begins. Tours will also be hosted throughout the summer months, so be sure to stop by to see a couple of friendly faces and talk with Mrs. Bookholt to learn more about the many opportunities that await at St. Paul Catholic School.
