Investing in the future of our youth has always been a core mission of KV REMC. For the past 17 years, we have proudly partnered with the Scripps National Spelling Bee to give local students the opportunity to compete on the national stage.
This year’s representative, Nolan Roule an eighth grader at St. Johns Lutheran School in LaPorte, recently returned from his week-long adventure in Washington, D.C., where he participated in the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Roule earned this incredible opportunity by winning both his school bee and the regional bee.
KV REMC not only sponsored the local spelling bee but also provided Roule and one parent with an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C. We are committed to supporting our students’ academic achievements and look forward to more opportunities to help grow the future leaders of our community.
